Willie C Hobbs

Willie Coy Hobbs was born in Candler County, Georgia on March 15, 1935 to Britt Stamp Hobbs and Lovely Holland Hobbs. He departed this life on March 3, 2015 at Camilla Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Claxton, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith.

He retired from Louisiana Pacific in Statesboro, Georgia after many years. His favorite sport was the love of his life: fishing and hunting. He was united in marriage to Rosie Mae Stidem and from this union one son was born.

He is survived by his son, James Willie Hobbs, of Statesboro, Georgia; two brothers, H.J. (Brenda) Mincey, Pennsouken, N.J. and Nelson B. Hobbs, Metter, Georgia; one sister, Teresa Hobbs-Mosley, Portal, Georgia; on grandson, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
