Sandra Laura (Lewis) Boykin

Mrs. Sandra Laura Boykins was born November 5, 1959 in Jamaica Queens, New York. She entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 20, 2020, peacefully at home.

Sandra was employed by Grace Gardens and Pleasant View Nursing Home in Metter, Georgia. She loved spending time with her husband, Melvin Boykin, of 30 years, traveling to see her grandkids across many states, fishing, spending time with Browne, the family dog, and shopping with family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lewis, Sr. and Laura Lewis of Jamaica Queens, New York; two brothers, Howard Faulk and Tony Lewis, and one sister, Linda Lewis. 

Sandra leaves the following loved ones to wonderful fond memories: her husband, Melvin Boykin of Metter, Georgia; two sons, Kevin Francis and Travis Boykin; two daughters, Basheen Jackson and Twyla Boykin; three brothers, Memo (Sherry) Faulk , James Lewis, and Terry (Katie) Lewis; one sister, Diane Johnson; brother in law, Reverend Calvin (Lizzie Ann) Boykin; fifteen grandchildren, Dramel Boykin, Kayla Byrd, Eddie Byrd, Jaden Byrd, Imani Boykin, Travis Boykin, Jr., Taniah Branch, Isaiah Francis, Kianna Francis, Jasmine Francis, Isaac Francis, Zyrick Jackson, Zacchaius Jackson, and Serenity Jackson; one great-grandson, Karson Byrd; many loving nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
