Mrs. Sadie Ruth Deloach was born on August 14, 1932 to Van Buren and Juanita Victoria Hendrix in Pulaski, Georgia.  She entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

She attended and graduated from Candler County Training School in Metter, Georgia.  Sadie was a peaceful and caring person.  She worked diligently as a nurse’s assistant and retired from Candler County Hospital  in 2001 after thirty years of service.  She was a dedicated member of St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church for many years before her health declined.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Inman Walter “Joe” Deloach, Sr. ; her sister, Grace Elaine Reeves; two brothers, Edward Hendrix and Van Buren Hendrix, Jr.; two sons, Barwick Hendrix and George Alton Deloach; one daughter, Barbara A. Hendrix and a daughter-in-law, Ava M. Hendrix.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Inman “Joe” Deloach, Jr. of Metter, GA; two daughters, Cheri Deloach and Bridgett Deloach and a bonus daughter, Sharon Edwards all of Metter, GA ; five granddaughters, Meloyde Johnson of Stone Mountain, GA, Niaya Harris of Alabama, Ja’Sannea Greer (Brandon) of Hawaii, Shonte’ Deloach of Detroit, MI, Sherica Fields of Metter, GA;  four grandsons, Jamaal Hendrix and Zachary Harris both of Metter, GA, Roderic Wright of Statesboro, GA and her dedicated caregiver and special grandson with whom she shared a special bond, Jeremy Harris of Metter, GA; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
