Rickey B. Jenkins

Mr. Rickey B. Jenkins was born December 1, 1957 to the late Mr. Lonnie and Mrs. Willie Bell Jenkins in Swainsboro, Georgia.  He peacefully departed this life on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at his home in Metter, Georgia.  Rickey lived a life defined by love, dedication and devotion to those he held dear.  He was a loving husband, father, brother , grandfather and friend.  

For 30 years, Rickey was married to his beloved, Lillie.  They shared a committed life of devotion and unwavering support.  Together they created a loving environment for their family. For the past 10 years Rickey was employed as a truck driver.  He enjoyed his occupation, immensely. He also enjoyed cutting grass, doing yardwork and cutting wood.

He leaves to cherish his memory:  his wife, Lillie Jenkins of Metter, GA; three daughters, Kia Burke (Cassidy) of Metter, GA; Latisha Barnes (Carlos) of Bloomfield, NJ and LaChina Williams of Rock Hill, NC; three sons, Perry Burke (LaFaye) of Grovetown, GA, Darius Burke (Kenosha) of Twin City, GA and Ricky Worthen (Janelle) of Roselle, NJ; one sister, Janice Jenkins and one brother, Leon Jenkins both of NJ; a special uncle, Arthur Jenkins and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, and dear friends.

In order to honor Mr. Jenkins' wishes, no service will be planned.
