Quavis Holloway Jr., affectionately known as 'Lil Qua" and "Bemo" was born in Statesboro Ga on September 19, 2000 to Cecilia "CeCe" Smith and Quavis Holloway Sr. At Memorial Medical Health University on October 14, 2020 our Lord saw Qua was getting weary on his earthly journey. It was then, He whispered to his child "Job Well Done" and welcomed him into His Kingdom.
Qua attended schools in Metter, Statesboro and Reidsville and was known as one of the most intelligent in his class. He played basketball, baseball, football and loved to smile and make others laugh. He was an Honor Graduate at Tattnall County High school, Class of 2019.
As a teenager, Bemo took a liking to shooting dice and making music. As he had done with everything else in life, he exceeded in both. From city to city, he was known for his 'slick' roll and songs. Special Thanks to Tyler Gordan. Some things were certain in his lifetime, and that was his love for his family, friends and son. He dedicated his life to making sure that all those he came in contact with knew that he loved them. Through his knowledge, wisdom beyond his years and a smile that would brighten up any room, he was well-loved and respected across multiple cities.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Quinton Holloway.
Qua leaves to cherish the legacy of precious memories: one son Bentley Holloway , Bentley's mother, Marisol Cruz both of Collins, GA.; his mother, Cecilia Smith( Portia Porter) of Claxton, GA.; his father, Quavis Holloway (Indiya Holly) of Statesboro, GA.; his other mother, Dana Gibson of Metter, GA.; maternal grandmother, Tracy Smith of Metter, GA.; paternal grandmother, Clara Holloway of Register, GA.; eleven siblings; A'DaChe' McClain and Cassie Smith both of Claxton, GA., Shalandria (Sha) Rivers, Cameron Prince, Ziyona Holly, Lathan Holly, Danity Holloway, DaVe' Holly, Dhanali Holly, and Dhriya Holly all of Statesboro, GA., and Ashton Gibson of Metter, GA.; one aunt, Shenavian Holloway of Register, GA.; three uncles, Michael Edwards (Kala Lanier) and Ahmad Edwards both of Metter, GA., and Omar Brunson (Susan Brunson) of Virginia Beach, VA.; one niece, Lauren McClain; three nephews, Dayon McClain, Asher McClain, and Deonta Whitfield; best friends, Dedrick Griffin, Michael Downey, Dasani Derard, Blakely McKever and Kirsten Paige Furr; and a host of cousins and close friends.
