Patrick Trent Smith

Patrick Trent Smith was born in Metter, Georgia on July 26, 1957, to the late Frank Donaldson, Jr., and Eula Mae Smith. Patrick attended the public schools of Candler County and resided most of his life in Metter.

Patrick or Pat was lovingly known as Smitty by his family. He was a fisherman at heart and enjoyed spending time making his yard look the best. For many years he was employed at the JOMAX BBQ.

He married the love of his life, Theresa Wood, on March 30, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one stepson, Ricky Lowery

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Smith of Metter, Georgia; five brothers, Larry Hobbs, Lawrence Hobbs, Spencer Smith, Stacey Smith, Robert Parrish all of Metter, Georgia; one sister, Tracy Smith of Metter, Georgia; three stepsons, James Threatt of North Carolina, Justin Wood and Cody Wood both of Metter, Georgia, a mother-in-law, Shirley Nettles of Metter, Georgia; one stepdaughter, Alexus Rehm of North Carolina; two brothers-in-law, Ralph Wood of Metter, Georgia and Ronnie Smith; three sisters-in-law,  Jennie Wood of Swainsboro, Georgia, Felcia Ryals of Metter, Georgia and Gennie Smith; and several other relatives and friends.
