Mary Faye (Robinson) Johnson

Mary Faye Johnson was born December 16, 1971, to Ira Coney and Dorothy Robinson in Metter, Georgia.  She passed on Thursday, September 23, 2021, peacefully.

Mary Faye attended the public schools of Candler County, Georgia. She was to married Joseph Johnson, III.  She raised, not only her four children, but was very involved in raising her grandchildren. Mary Faye was employed with the Candler County Board of Education in food services. She worked diligently there for many years. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Aline Community,  under the leadership of the late Reverend Jay Phillips.

Mary Faye was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Willie Cheley, Jr.; one grandson, Kaleb Johnson; her father, Ira Coney; her mother, Dorothy Robinson and one sister, Della Mae Coney.

She leaves to cherish many fond memories: two devoted sons, Joseph (Kierra)  Johnson and Terrance (Kendra) Johnson; two daughters, Shaqula (Money) Johnson and Dorothy Johnson; seven brothers; five sisters; twelve grandchildren; one goddaughter, Kyah Byrd; a special friend, Warnell Moss, and a host of other relatives and friends.
