Mary Henry Obituary

 

Deaconess Mary Z. Henry was born March 20, 1939 in Graymont, Georgia, now known as Twin City, to the late Mr. Walter Corley and the late Mother-Louella Corley Gordon. She was the youngest daughter of eleven sisters and brothers. 

Deaconess Mary was married to the late Brother Wilbert Henry, into this union two sons was born; she also brought four daughters and received three additional bonus children. 
Deaconess Mary was a member of Sanctuary Church of the Living God, in Stillmore, Georgia, where she severed as a loyal and faithful member until she was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday August 24, 2021 at 7:30 a.m. 

She is preceded in death by Louise Booker, Walter James Corley, Lee-Andrew Corley, Robert Lewis Corley, Jessie-Albert Corley, Luther Gordon Jr., Milton Gordon and a Great Aunt Harnetha. 

Leaving to cherish her memories are her children: Jennifer (Carnell) Lanier, Angelita Pendergraph (Rivera), Kathy (Gilbert) Robinson, Karon Whitehead, Bobby (Alisha) Henry, Barry (Burnetia) Henry, Wilbert (Gloria) Henry Jr., the late Bobby (Anne) Henry, and Janice (Lamar) Cheatem; two sisters, Bernease Raymond and Betty (Robert) Martin; one brother Freddie-Lee Corley. She will truly be missed by her nineteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Deaconess Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend, who loved her family so dearly.
