Marion "Nanny" Fann

Ms. Marion “Nanny” Fann was born on February 6,1928 to Shaper Fann and Classie Dennie Fann of Aline, Georgia. On August 21, 2018, the Angel of Mercy entered Marion’s home to usher her home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. At an early age, she joined Rountree Grove Baptist Church, Twin City, Georgia where she was a devoted member.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Shaper and Classie Dennie Fann; her two sons, Jerry Fann and Perry Fann; her fourteen brothers, Willie Fann, Homer Fann, James Fann, Azerene Fann, Ulysses Fann, Clyde Fann, J.D. Fann, Clarence Fann, Bruce Fann, Ralph Fann, Robert Lee Fann, Roy Fann, George Fann, and Otis Fann, Sr.; three sisters, Ida Fann, Segaster Fann, and Gladys Fann; and one granddaughter, Patricia Johnson.

She leaves to cherish many precious memories, her daughter, Gail Fann, Twin City, Georgia; one sister, Mary Branch, Brooklyn, New York; one daughter-in-law, Helen S. Fann, Twin City, Georgia; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; twenty-seven great, great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
