Whitaker Funeral Home respectfully announces the passing of Mrs. Lula Mae Robinson, a centenarian and a beloved member of the Twin City community, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 13, 2024. She was 102 years old.
Lula was born November 3, 1921 in Jenkins County to the late Richard Facyson and Sophie Facyson. She married Theodore “Buddy” Robinson and they had six children: Lillie B. Reynolds, Johnny L. Robinson (deceased), Eva M. Smith, Mary A. Cross, Felix Robinson, and Stanley D. Robinson. She was blessed with five generations of descendants who cherished her.
She was a kind, gentle, and generous person who touched the lives of many people in her 102 years of life. She will be remembered for her strength, her resilience, and her love of dressing up and wearing her red lipstick. She was always ready for any occasion. She was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
