Kenneth Wright, Sr.

Kenneth Wright, Sr. was born to the late Ernest Jack Wright and the late Louise L. Wright on September 6, 1960.

Kenneth received his formal education in the public schools of Candler County, Georgia. He attended church and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Kenneth enjoyed being with his wife and the grandkids. Even when he was sick, he made time for everybody. He will truly be missed.

Kenneth departed this life on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Preceding him in death, to include his parents; one daughter, Learise Mincey; one son, James Wright; one sister, Diane Wright; two brothers, Walter Wright and Ernest Jack Wright, Jr.; mother-in-law, Mildred H. Mincey; one sister-in-law, Belinda Mincey and all other family members.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mrs. Gladys Marie Wright; five daughters, Shayla Mincey, Cadisha Mincey, Serena Wright, Marlisha Wright and Samantha Wright all of Metter, GA; two sons, Kenneth Wright, Jr. (Sharvae) and Ernest Wright (Melissa) both of Statesboro, GA; father-in-law, James Mincey, Jr. (Bertha) of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Susanne Wright and Sara Posley (James) all of Metter, GA; seven brothers, Robert Lanier, Bobby Lanier, Michael Wright, David Wright, Billy Wright, Charles Byrd and Ricky Frazier; one aunt, Martha Lanier; twenty-one grandchildren; one great-grand, Jamari and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
