Kachinta Anita Gordon Moody was born on July 30, 1974, to Mr. Otis Gordon and Mrs. Hattie Mae Williams Gordon at Candler County Hospital. She slept away peacefully into eternal rest on February 23, 2022.
Kachinta attended Metter High School. She married Willie L. Moody and to this union two children were born. Kachinta was a certified nurse assistant (CNA) where she worked at Pleasantview Nursing Center and Metter Nursing Home (now Azalea Health and Rehabilitation Center) for many years until her health began to fail. She was a member of Jones Temple Pentecostal Church of Deliverance where she served on the usher board. Her hobbies included making jewelry and crocheting.
Kachinta was preceded in death by her son, Willie Lee Moody Jr. (B.J./Bubba) and her sister, Evangelist Erica Williams Robinson.
Kachinta leaves behind to cherish her memories, her children, Sharelle Moody and Oshea Moody both of Hull, Georgia; father, Otis Gordon of Metter, Georgia; devoted mother, Pastor Hattie M. Gordon of Stillmore, Georgia; two sisters, Leslie G. Lanier (Steve) and Jasmine O. Williams (Divory Sr.) both of Metter, Georgia; four grandchildren, Micah Moody of Stillmore, Georgia, Makayla Moody, Madison Moody and Mariah Collins all of Hull, Georgia; four nephews, Asa Lanier of Louisiana, Blake Lanier, Josiah Eady, and Divory Williams Jr. all of Metter, Georgia; one niece, Kenslei Williams of Bainbridge, Georgia; six uncles, Willie Gordon (Johnnie Mae) and Forrest Gordon both of Stillmore, Georgia, Scarboro Gordon (Eleanor) of Jesup, Georgia, Horace Williams Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida, Mical Whitaker and Willie L. Williams (Theresa) both of Metter, Georgia; four aunts, Elder Elizabeth Martin (Charles) and Minnie Patterson (Arthur) both of Jacksonville, Florida, Hassie Ishman of Statesboro, Georgia, and Sarah Oglesby of Metter, Georgia; Play Aunt, Gloria Salisbury (Bobbie), College Park, Georgia; great uncle, Johnny Gordon (Betty) of Stillmore, Georgia; one brother-in-law, Elder Stanley Robinson of Twin City, Georgia; a special friend, James Phillips of Metter, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
