Mrs. Julia Lee Boston, 66, transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 24, 2023. She was born March 25, 1957 in Statesboro, Georgia to Cora Lee Love Timmons and Lester Timmons.
She was a faithful member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Pulaski, Georgia. She was also a member of Rose Metter Chapter No. 249 OES, Order of the Eastern Star, Metter, Georgia.
Julia dearly loved her husband, her children, her grandchildren and her three fur babies (Ginger, Lil Bit and Sweet Pea). Her favorite pastimes included traveling, spending time with her grandkids, sitting in her favorite recliner watching TLC, cooking and animal shows, baking , playing games on her tablet and making her famous potato salad.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents and her sister, Leslie Mae Timmons.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Boston, Jr. of Metter, GA; one son, Rodriques “Redman” Timmons (Twala) of Durham, NC; one daughter, Shaneka ”Nikki” Timmons Burchell (Javaine) of Hampton, GA; two stepchildren, Arthur A. Boston of Atlanta, GA and Mitchell W. Boston (Connie) of Fort Worth, TX; three sisters, Belle Webb, Oreta Timmons, Mary Love all of Statesboro, GA; three brothers, Johnny Timmons and Jerry Timmons of Tallahassee, FL, Lavon Timmons (Pat) of Atlanta, GA; one sister-in-law, Chyrileen Kilcrease of Metter, GA; her only living aunt, Wyoming Timmons; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her best friend, Jeanette Houston and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
