Mrs. Juanita (Nita) Browder Jamerson was born July 14, 1943, to the late M.J. (Doll) and Roxie (Snowden) Browder. She departed this life on September 20, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jamerson; two daughters, Roxane Carwell and Vanessa Diane Branch; two brothers, Wilbert Browder, Sr. and Tom Browder; one sister, Grace Lane.
She was a career cook who was known throughout the area for her delectable dishes. Especially her potato salad. She started as a cook at Ruby’s restaurant in Reidsville, during the mid 70’s. She later worked at Westside Food in Cobbtown where she retired from after working over 30 years. She was a devoted member of Thankful Baptist Church in Metter, GA. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She leaves to mourn her two daughters, Veta Lawanda Carwell of Collins, GA and Lugreta C. (Sammie) Lawrence of Metter, GA; six sons, Raymond Hayes of Savannah, GA, Charles Jamerson, Jr., of Statesboro, GA, William (Bill) Carwell, Jr., of Reidsville, GA, Harold Jamerson of Statesboro, GA, Harmon Lee (Linda) Carwell of Metter, GA; Booker T (Renea) Moody, Houston, Texas; a sister, Gail B. Carlton of Reidsville, GA; two brothers, Melvin (Rosa Mae) Browder of Reidsville, GA and Dale Browder of Frankfort, KY; a host grandchildren, a host great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
