Johnnie Lee (Wallace) Gainer

Ms. Johnnie Lee Gainer was born January 17, 1956 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Lula Bell Banner. She departed this life Monday, September 11, 2017 in Savannah, Georgia.

She attended public school in Jenkins, County, Georgia. Johnnie moved to Metter, Georgia in the early 1960's. She obtained a Certificate of Achievement from the Georgia Department of Technology ad Adult Education of Swainsboro Technical College for successfully completing the GED Program in Metter, Georgia. 

Johnnie  accepted Christ as her Lord and served as a faithful member until her demise. She enjoyed helping others and spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends.

She is survived by one daughter, Ms. Mesheal Latonya Benjamin, Metter, GA; two sons, Carlton Lavon Benjamin, Metter, GA, and Gregory Lamar Benjamin, Killeen, TX; two sisters, Martha (Richard) Butler, Metter, GA, and Rose (Lucius) Williams, Stillmore, GA; eight grandchildren, Casey Alphonso Benjamin and Deanna Andrea Benjamin both of Metter, GA; Trevon Boykin, Swainsboro, GA; Lyric Rain Locklear, Fayettville, NC, Calen Sha'Ron Benjamin and Azriel Jamar Benjamin both of Fort Worth, TX; and a host of nieces and nephews.
