John Henry Johnson

Mr. John Henry Johnson, age 50, died Wednesday July 22, 2020 from injuries sustained on his job at Valmont-Newmark in Claxton, Georgia. He was born in Orlando, Florida but spent most of his life in Candler and Evans Counties, Georgia. 

He attended the public schools of Miami, Florida and Candler County, Georgia. John was a fun loving, friendly person. He was an avid fisherman and he also loved to jog. He was extremely protective of his family and friends.

He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish fond memories, one son, Jamarian Murphy of Swainsboro, GA; one daughter, Annquette Myers of Augusta, GA; his mother, Mytrice McNair Hobbs of Claxton, GA; one brother, Alton Griffin, Jr. of Statesboro, GA; four sisters, Ulander McNair of Metter, GA, LaShoda Brunson of Atlanta, GA, Pamela Griffin and Krystal Griffin both of Statesboro, GA; several uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
