Jamell Maurice George

Jamell Maurice George was born July 3, 1989 at Candler County Hospital in Metter, Georgia to Caulie and Levon George. He departed this life on July 2, 2016 at Pametto Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. His short life was taken away. Jamell lived in Columbia, South Caroline the entire twenty six (26) years of his life.

Jamell was a member of Greater Saint Luke Baptist Church in Columbia, SC. He also visited many churches throughout the communities in Columbia. Jamell had a great passion of spreading the gospel through his Gospel Rap Music that he loved writing both day and night. He also enjoyed playing games on his phone, spending time with his son, watching his favorite team, the Florida Gators.

He worked several years with his father’s landscaping company, George and Sons, which grew into a very successful business. Jamell used his skills to open his own company, Jamell’s Landscaping and it kept his very busy.

Jamell was preceded by his father in death, Reverend Caulie George.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Tyion Caulie George, Columbia, SC; his loving mother, Levon George, Columbia, SC; four brothers, Caulie L. (Julie) George, Columbia, SC; Sherman (Tasha) George, Stockbridge, GA; Marshall (Tonya) George, Ellenwood, GA; Verrick (Kimberly) George, Marietta, GA; two sisters, Carlious (Theodore) Manning and Sharonda George, both of Columbia, SC; several nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
