Hilda L. Groover was born to the late Leroy Barriner and Henrietta Lewis Barriner on October 22, 1950. Hilda departed this life on Thursday, October 6, 2022.
Hilda was a member of St. Paul Church of Garfield, Georgia where she served faithfully until the Lord called her home. She retired from the Emanuel County School System.
Along with her parents, Hilda was preceded in death by four brothers, Sampson Barriner, Arlee Barriner, Joe Barriner and Johnny Barriner; four sisters, Carrie Davis, Louise B. Smith, Eleanora Wright, and Lula Mae Lane.
Hilda leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Jaycee Groover of Garfield, Georgia; one sister, Hazel Anthony (Robert) of Miami, Florida, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
