Harold Donaldson

Harold Donaldson was born December 3, 1943 in Cobbtown, Georgia to Bloys Donaldson and Phivie Lee Pinkston Donaldson. He was the third child of six children. He departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Georgia.

Harold attended Candler County Training School in Metter, Georgia and was a graduate of Class of 1963. Harold lived a very quiet and comfortable life. He was a man that was helpful to others in need. Harold was good with his hands. He had the ability to build things with very little effort and material. His entire family meant the world to him. He loved them dearly and his family had a lot of love for him. 

He was married to Patricia Ann Murray. He and his wife took in one niece and two nephews to raise as their own. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, and one brother, Lehman Donaldson.

Harold leaves to cherish his memories four sisters: Annie Lois (Jerome) Smith, Atlanta, GA, Shirley (Ralph) Chester, Milledgeville, GA, Betty Joyce Evans, Metter, GA and Helen Lavern (Johnny) Sanders, Statesboro, GA; three raised as his own, Harvey Lee Wilson, Jr., Denise Michelle Mikel, and Terry Deron Wilson; four brothers-in-law; Jimmy Murray, Statesboro, GA,  Arthur Murray, Summertown, SC,  Johnny Murray, Omaha, NE, and Andrew Murray, San Antonio, TX; three sisters-in-law, Gloria Murray, Statesboro, GA and Sandra Murray, Columbia, SC and Delores Donaldson, Metter, GA; sixteen nephews, fourteen nieces, twenty one great nephews, twenty one great nieces and several cousins and friends.
