Grace James (James) Wilkerson

Grace James Wilkerson was born November 12, 1945 in Tattnall County, Georgia, the seventh of nine children born to Mr. Jeff and Mrs. Lucile Henry James.  She was educated in the public schools of Tattnall and Candler Counties, Georgia.   

At an early age she accepted Christ as her Savior and she was a member of Collins Church of God, Collins, Georgia.

On February 19, 1974 she married Willie Gene Wilkerson.  She was a devoted homemaker and mother. She raised two sons, Michael James and Darius Wilkerson. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Darius Wilkerson; five siblings, Willie James, Barney James. Doris James Mosley and Annie Ruth James Rivers.

She leaves to cherish fond memories, her husband, Willie Gene Wilkerson of Claxton, GA; one son, Michael James of Claxton, GA; one brother, Earl James of Metter, GA; three sisters, Gladys James, Luretha James Mosley of Metter, GA and Helen James Dukes of Ellabell, GA; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
