Franzella (Edgerton) Stovall

Franzella Stovall, 78, of Vidalia, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Memorial University Medical Center, Savannah.    The Toombs County native was the daughter of the late Perry Edgerton, Sr . and Alberta Lane Edgerton. 

 Franzella was a graduate of Lyons Industrial High School.  Her  christian life begin at The House of God, Keith Dominion in Lyons. In 1966 she moved to the state of Florida, where she lived for nineteen year.  In 1985, she relocated to Chicago, Illinois.  She resided in Chicago for more than thirty years.  She was a member of The House of God, Keith Dominion in Chicago.  Franzella returned to her native, Georgia, just a month prior to her passing.

She is survived by three sons, Reverend Willie C. Stovall (Michelle), Homewood, IL, Franklin D. Stovall (Karen), Brooklyn Park, MN and Willie L. Griffin, Jr, Vidalia, GA; two daughters, Barbara A. Dupathy, Chicago, IL and Deborah S. Gaskins (Reverend Jasper), Raleigh, NC; one brother, Perry Edgerton, Jr., Vidalia, GA; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
