Mr. Franklin "Frank" Kennedy was born September 20, 1937 in Cobbtown, Georgia, to Lankford and Annie Mae Kennedy. He passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his residence.
He attended the public schools of Tattnall County and was a graduate of the Tattnall County Industrial High School. Frank had many career jobs. He was a farmer, auto mechanic, truck driver, and many more. He was a man of many talents, but he was at his best as an owner of his tire business in New, Jersey. Frank retired from the tire business to return back home to Cobbtown in the late 80's. Upon his return, he was employed at Crider Poultry Plant before permanently retiring due to health issues.
Frank was a member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Cobbtown, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Lenora, and one brother, Henry.
Frank is survived by one son, Frankin Kennedy, Jr. (Felicia); six daughters, Muriel Montia (Devon), Zestann Jackson (Wayne), Debbie Rodriguez (David), Brinda Morrison (Kevin), Norma Forbes (William), and Mary Lou Kennedy; two brothers, Willie Kennedy and Leon Kennedy; three sisters, Mary Kennedy, Roxie Wilkins, and Dophenia Byrd (Timmie); twenty-five grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
