Frances Mae (Mack) Byrd

Frances Mae Byrd was born November 26, 1944 in Millen, GA to the late Frank and Daisy D. Mack. She was the second youngest of twelve siblings. She married her soul mate, Roman A Byrd and later mved to Alexandria, VA. To Roman and Frances' union, sixx children were born. Frances was a member of New Penetcoastal Church, Alexandria, VA.

Frances departed this life into eternal life on June 24, 2015. She left this life to join her husband, son, Larry Byrd, four sisters and six brothers.

During her life, she inspired and encouraged everyone to follow their dreams. She taught her family to speak up and stand up for themselves. Football season was her favorite time of the year. Frances was the Washington Redskin's #1 fan. She loved talking trash about her Redskins. Frances also loved playing cards, board games amd the most important thing to her was family gatherings because she loved her family.

Frances is survived by: two daughters, Daisy Byrd and Jannie Doris Byrd (Melvin); three sons, Quinton (Charlene) Byrd, Rodney Byrd and Roman (Bo) Byrd; one brother, Noel Mack, one brother-in-law, Harold Byrd; fourteen grandchildren, Tonya, Tifany, Erica, Ebony, Quinton (Duke), Quinzzy, Schcona, Devonta, Dsiree, Ciara, Antwain, Robyn, Robert and Raveen; twelve great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
