She attended school at Twin City Elementary and Swainsboro High School. After marriage, she and Louis moved to Miami where she entered the Sunlight School of Beauty Culture to further her studies in cosmetology. She graduated from that institution in 1962 with honors. She furthered her studies at workshops in Miami and Atlanta. She worked at a couple of
beauty shops in Miami before starting her own shop that was highly successful. She moved back to Twin City in 1981 and built her own shop there.
Eva poured her heart into hairdressing for over 60 years, transforming her beauty shop into a sanctuary of creativity and care. Her passion for styling hair was matched by her joy in uplifting and empowering her clients, making each visit a personal and meaningful experience. Eva touched countless lives with her loving, gentle, and generous spirit, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was strong as she endured and overcame many
