The spool began on June 20, 1972 to Ms. Hattie Mae Williams and Mr. Freddie Raymond in Metter, Georgia.
Erica Williams Robinson was a graduate of Emanuel County Institute in Twin City, Georgia. She began her career in the United States Navy. After three and half years of service, she received an honorable discharge due to her health. In spite of her health, she still had the drive to do more and be more. Erica furthered her career by attending Johnson School of Cosmetology where she became a Master of Cosmetology, owning Erica’s New Beginning Beauty Boutique. Knowing that her health would not allow her to work forever in the boutique, she decided to further her education at Southeastern Technical College, Vidaila, Georgia and was an honor graduate from the Surgical Technology program.
At a very young age she received the gift of the Holy Ghost and being led by the spirit of God, she later became anointed and appointed as an Evangelist under the leadership of her pastor, Elder Hattie M. Gordon, at Jones Temple Church. She was a phenomenal teacher, mentor, and friend; her package “Who Wants Eternal Life” and her “Boutique Ministry” will never be forgotten by the lives she touched.
Later in life she met the love of her life, Elder Stanley Robinson, and together they were joined in holy matrimony on January 16, 2007.
On February 11, 2015, the yarn spool unraveled and the angels came to reclaim one of their own. She will never be forgotten for the lives she has touched and for the love she has shown. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, a loving and devoted husband, Elder Stanley Robinson; her father, Freddie Raymond (Ruby) of Fort Lauderdale, FL; her mother, Elder Hattie M. Gordon; step-father, Otis Gordon; one son, Oshea Moody of Twin City; two daughters, Stacey Gibson of Valdosta and Sharelle Moody of Stillmore; five brothers, Christopher, Freddie, Cory, Todd, and Xavier Raymond all of Florida; seven sisters, Kachinta Moody and Leslie (Steve) Lanier both of Metter, Jasmine Oglesby (Divory) Williams of Lyons, Carolyn Hill, Sofia Shaw, Shannon Raymond all of Florida; seven grandchildren, Khobi Brown and Gabi, Aubri, and Zachari Gibson all of Valdosta; Josiah Eady, Kenslei and Divory Williams Jr. of Lyons; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins; a very devoted neighbor and friend, Mrs. Sarah Faison of Twin City.
