Eddie Louis Wilcher

Mr. Eddie Louis Wilcher was born May 12, 1939 in Metter, Georgia to Mr. Everson and Mrs. Lear Wilcher. Mr. Eddie entered into eternal rest on April 30, 2016. 

Mr. Eddie, at an early age joined and became a member of First Baptist Church, now Lakeside First Baptist Church. He received his education in the public schools of Candler, County, Georgia.

He was a skillful individual who enjoyed doing electrical work, breaking down and rebuilding things. He had a love for music, especially gospel music. He picked the guitar and sang to the people at the treatment center.

Mr. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Jesse Lee Wiggins, Herman Wilcher, Lonnie Wilcher and Charlie Bee Wilcher. 

He leaves to cherish precious memories; one brother, Mandrus (Dorothy) Wilcher, Fort Pierce, Florida; two sisters, Myrtle Lou Washington and Mae Helen Johnson both of New York, New York; a devoted and special cousin, Clara Mae Walker, Metter, Georgia; four nieces, Sheryl (Curtis), Charlene, Michelle and Charlette (Barry); five nephews; Mandrus, Jr., Antonio, Tyrone (Bonnie), Clinton and Jeffery; eight great nephews; eleven great nieces and a host of great great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
