Eddie Moore

Deacon Eddie Moore was born in Midville, Georgia on August 27, 1952 to Sax and Lula Mae Clay Moore. He entered into eternal rest October 13, 2016.

At an early age he moved with his mother to Fort Lauderdale, FL. After completing high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in 1976. For the
past ten years, Eddie was employed by Crider’s Poultry Company in Stillmore, GA.

On September 9, 2004 he married the former Lucille Harden Steley. In 2009, he joined Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He served as a faithful deacon until he became ill.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, Lucille Moore, Metter, GA; four sons, Dwayne Moore, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, John Steley (Annie) and Willie James Byrd (Rella) all of Metter, GA and David Steley, Tampa, FL; one
daughter, Cathy Norman (Leon), Atlanta, GA; five brothers, Johnny Moore and Charles E. Moore both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Christopher Moore, Knoxville, TN, Jesse Moore and William Moore both of Augusta, GA; four sisters, Joyce
Harmon (James), Valdosta, GA, Christine Moore-Fields, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Annie Mae Moore and Barbara A. Moore, both of Augusta, GA; five grandchildren; three uncles, King Clay (Idrena), Charles Clay (Pearl), Titusville, FL and Sylvester Clay (Irma), Ft. Lauderdale, FL; four aunts, Josephine Duval, Mary Pearl Coleman both of Ft.
Lauderdale, FL and Leoma Richardson (Jessie), Titusville, FL; three great aunts, Josephine Patterson, Rosa Boyd and Julia Cheatham; five brothers-in-law, Jake Harden (Faye), Elder Ronnie Harden (Connie), Bruce Harden all of Metter, GA, Elder Tony Harden (Modestine), Rocky Ford, GA, and Roney Harden (Cynthia), Alaska; sisters-in-law, Ruby Redding (Emmit), Mae Jackson (Charles), Reverend Blonde Harden, Voncin Douglas all of Statesboro, GA, Margie Byrd (Jesse) and Mildred Mincey of Metter, GA and a host of relatives and friends.
