Eddie Artis

Eddie Artis was born on August 18, 1953 in Metter, Georgia to James Daniel Artis, Sr. and Naomi Williams Artis. He fell asleep in death on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

Eddie was a fun and loving brother and uncle who enjoyed cooking BBQ. Fishing was his hobby. Eddie loved farm work. Having fun with his family gave him great joy. He worked at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Home and Metter High School as a custodian until his health began to decline. He was a graduate of Metter High School.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his brother James Artis, Jr. of Metter, GA; his sisters, Betty (Razzell, Sr.) Brown, Mattie Artis, and Lillie Artis all of Metter, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He will be greatly missed.
