Dan Willie Owens

On October 3, 2021, Dan Willie Owens was called home to be with his Lord and Savior. He received the greatest gift of eternal peace, where there is no more sadness or tears.

He was born on May 2, 1941, to Jim and Rosa Lee Owens. “Dee”, as he was affectionately called by his family, was a native of Jenkins County, Georgia, His early education was in the Jenkins County school system. He worked for decades as an industrial worker until glaucoma forced him to retire. 

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and seven sisters.

He leaves to mourn: his daughters, Regina M. Bell and Teresa Owens; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; one brother, Johnny W. Owens; one sister, Eula M. Owens; special friends, Mrs. Brenda Shuman and Mrs. Charlotte Coursey, many other family members and friends.
