Christine (Collins) Hendrix

Christine Hendrix  was born to Mr. Clifford Collins and Mrs. Elizabeth Collins on September 10, 1937, in Candler County, Georgia. She lived most of her life in Bulloch, County Georgia.

In 1980, she moved back to Candler County, Georgia where she remained until her passing on Saturday, October 16, 2021.

In 1956, she united in holy matrimony to Mr. Izell Hendrix and to this union seven children were born. She is preceded in death by her husband, two sons; Louis Hendrix and Willie Hendrix and one daughter; Patricia Joiner and one grandson, Andrew Joiner.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Ira (Jeanette) Hendrix, Sr. of Statesboro, Georgia; three daughters, Dessie Meridy, Shirley Hendrix and Mary (John) Lawrence all of Metter, Georgia; one brother, Curtis (Mattie) Collins of Metter, Georgia; one sister, Vera Collins of Metter, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends.
