Christen Soyet Gueye

Christen Soyet Gueye was born September 24, 1983 to Pamela Quiney Collins and Augustin Gueye. Christen was cared for and raised by his second father, Joseph Murray. On Friday, February 20, 2015 after a brief illness Christen was called home.

Christen was a very intelligent young man who received his high school diploma from the state of New Jersey; he went on to attend college where he studied business. Christen was an excellent artist who’s drawings would really jump off the page, he also enjoyed reading and loved animals.

Christen was a very quiet and tender-hearted person who spent his free time studying the word of God. At the age of nineteen he devoted his life to Christ becoming a member at the Evangel Church of Scotch Plains, NJ, where he was an active member until relocating to Statesboro, GA.

Christen was preceded in death by two paternal grandfathers and one aunt, Yulanda Quiney. 

He leaves, to cherish his memory, his mother Pamela Quiney Collins, Statesboro, Georgia;  fathers, Augustin Gueye, Bingerville, Ivory Coast and Joseph Murray of Honolulu.
