Cedric Lewis

Cedric Lewis was born to the late Mrs. Wilma Lewis Donaldson on December 24, 1962, in Candler County, Georgia. He peacefully departed this walk of life on May 9, 2016 at his residence in Norden, Germany.

Cedric attended the public schools of Candler County and was a 1980 graduate from Metter High School. He joined the United States Army immediately following high school graduation and served for 8 years. While enjoying his military career and being stationed in Germany, he chose to make that his home over the past thirty years. Cedric was a truck driver for over fifteen years and was employed with GZO. Cedric enjoyed visiting the United States to spend time with his family.

He leaves to cherish many memories and love: four children, Danny Lewis and Michele Lewis both of Schortens, Germany, Fernando Lewis of Norden, Germany and Samantha Lewis of Krefeld, Germany; one brother, Efram Donaldson, Metter, Georgia; two sisters, Geraldine Hannah and Bridgett (Stacy) Whitaker, all of Metter , Georgia; one uncle, John Lewis of Queens, New York; one aunt, Alma Donaldson of Metter, Georgia; one nephew, Eric Whitaker, Virginia Beach, Virginia; three nieces, Melissa Lewis of Metter, Georgia, Shae Whitaker of Kennesaw, Georgia and Brittany (Jimmy) Martin of Tucker, Georgia;  a special friend, Gundula Ricchiuto of Norden Germany, and a host of friends.
