Carrie P. Carswell

Carrie Pearl Carswell fondly known to everyone as “Sue”, was born to the late Dock and Ebbie Carswell on December 23, 1951, in Emanuel County, Georgia. She departed this life on Monday, August 23, 2021 at the Emanuel Medical Center. 

Early in life, she accepted Christ. Carrie was a member of Holy Zion Holiness Church, Metter, Georgia. She loved fishing, reading her bible, cooking, and praying for family and friends, but mostly she enjoyed attending church.

She was preceded in death y two sons, Herbert Carswell and Bruce Carswell, four brothers and two sisters.

She leaves to cherish many memories, three sons, Gregory Carswell and Larry Carswell, both of Twin City, GA and Rodney Dunkin, Brooksville, FL; one sister, Elva Mae Hughes, Twin City, GA; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and others. Carrie will be missed dearly by a special Church Mother, Mother Byrd, and special friends, Larry Smith and Flag Boston.
