Carlin Jones

Carlin Lorenzo Jones was born May 28, 1982 in Jacksonville, Florida to Carl Lorenzo Jones and Charlene Celeste Jones.   He was baptized and accepted Christ at an early age.  He attended Catholic and Christian schools in Jacksonville, Florida.   In his father’s photography business, he gained a passion for photography while assisting at weddings, ballroom gala’s and scenic photography sessions.  In Florida, one of his fondest memories was riding on his parent’s boat and fishing with his uncles and cousins at the family’s favorite fishing locations on the St. John’s River.  

After moving to Atlanta, Georgia in 1998 with his parents and brother, he graduated from Lovejoy High School and Griffin College with an Associates degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering.  On March 9th 2010, he was joined together in marriage to Ashley Jones.   Their beautiful beachside wedding in St. Lucia is an everlasting memory and they often journeyed to St. Lucia and Aruba together with their families.   He operated the family locksmith and security business with his father-in-law, Hezekiah Devon Chasnet Montia, and recently had acquired the Electrical Low Voltage Georgia license to help expand the business. 

Carlin and Ashley have two beautiful children, Caitlin Jones (7) and Carlin Jones (3).  They were the center of his universe and he loved his family dearly.  He was deeply dedicated to always providing a smile, laugh or help to his family and friends.  He found happiness in always being there for others and loved to socialize with everyone.  

In Atlanta, he briefly managed an entertainment lounge, maintained his own photography business, and actively participated in car and motorcycle clubs with friends.  He loved riding dirt bikes with his brother.  He also enjoyed eating out at Atlanta restaurants with Ashley, his brother, Carlvis Jones, and sister-in-law, Deepika Jones.  His most recent passion was using his boat with family and friends at Lake Lanier and Panama City Beach.  On April 25, 2021, Carlin Lorenzo Jones passed away in Fayetteville, Georgia.
