Betty Joyce (Taylor) Nixon

Betty Joyce Nixon was born  to the late Harvey Mason and Katie Gadson, in Candler County, Georgia. She departed this life April 5, 2015 aft Ogeechee Area Hospice.

She was a faithful member of Lakeside First Baptist Church, Metter, Georgia, also a member of the Garden Club, Walking Club,  and Daffin Park Walking Club, all of Savannah, Georgia. 

She was married to the late Frank E. Nixon, Sr.

She is survived by six sons, Charles Nixon, Sr., Frank Edward Nixon, Jr., Stanley Nixon, Stewart E. Nixon, Sr., John V. Nixon and Dale A. Nixon; one daughter, Guinevere A. Nixon-Ross; one sister, Edna Parrish, several grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.
