Mother Betty Ann Eason was born July 28, 1951 in Bulloch County, Georgia to the late Lloyd and Viola Andrews. She departed this life on Monday, May 4, 2020 in Alexandria, Louisiana.
She accepted Christ as her savior in 1975. She was then baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. Mother Eason was a member of Refuge Church until her demise. She was united in marriage to Mr. Vann Eason on April 11, 1972. To this union eight children were born. Mother Eason lived in Woonsocket, Rhode Island for many years before residing in Alexandria, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, one grandchild, and four siblings.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, Vann Eason, Sr.; one son, Vann Eason, Jr.; seven daughters, Sharon Andrews, Vickie Smith, Debra Harden, Betty Gail Brunson, Teresa Niang, Julianne Eason-Grinstead, and Sonya Eason; two brothers, James Andrews and Glenn Andrews; six sisters, Lorine Bostic, Eva Ashley, Bessie Cheley, Dorothy Ashley, Videll Rock, and Alline Rock; one aunt, Francis Brown; twenty-five grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
