Aronld Lee "Bobby" Byrd

Arnold Lee “Bobby” Byrd, Sr. was born May 7, 1941 to James L. and Allie Parrish Byrd in Candler County, Georgia.  He departed this life on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at his residence.
He attended the public schools of Candler County and resided in and around Candler County all of his life.  Mr. Byrd was self -employed as an automobile body mechanic for more than forty-five years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, J.L.; James Ivy and Earnest; four sisters, Elouise, Eubie, Ruthie Mae and Cleo.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Annie Lois Byrd of Metter; six sons, Arnold Byrd, Jr. (Teresa) of Bellville, GA, Ronnie Byrd (Lisa) of Decatur, GA, Billy Carl Byrd and Tyrone Byrd (Angela) of Metter, GA, Patrick Donaldson  (Sheila) of Meldrum, GA, Kourtney Wright (Ladona) of Metter, GA; two daughters, Roberta  Denson of Lawrenceville, GA and Tiffany Gerardi of Fayetteville, N.C. ; one sister, Gloria Wiggins (Daniel) of Statesboro, GA; seventeen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Fannie Donaldson of Metter, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
