Anthony Devon Dekle

Anthony (Hoppo) Devon Dekle was born June 16,1970 in Metter, Georgia to Dyann and William T. Dekle. He attended the public schools of Candler County, Georgia and completed his high school education while in the Job Corps in Albany, Georgia. Anthony was a member of Tremount Temple Missionary Baptist Church, Metter, Georgia. He was employed as a truck driver for most of his adult life. 

In 1993, Anthony was joined in marriage to the former Karen Thomas. 

He leaves to cherish fond memories and happy times, his devoted wife, Karen Dekle of Metter, GA; five sons, Anthony Dekle, Jr., Kendall Mincey and Demetrius Dekle all of Metter, GA, William Thomas Dekle (Mookie) of Lawrenceville, GA and Jabarian Washington of Statesboro, GA; four daughters, Kelly (Chris) Roberson of Lawrenceville, GA, Kimberly (Trayon) Lanier of Metter, GA, Gabby Washington of Statesboro, GA and Karrie Williams of Lyons, GA; his parents, William T. and Dyann Dekle of Metter, GA; one brother, Stanley Williams of Metter, GA; three sisters, Sheila (Stanley) Crawford of Statesboro, GA, Cherbe (Wedgley ) Holloway and Jessica Dekle both of Metter, GA; six grandchildren, Trey, Tramiya, Alexis, Taylor, Nyla and Quincy; his mother-in-law, Jessie Thomas of Statesboro, GA; three uncles and two aunts; three special brothers, Cornelius (Ann) Dekle, Douglas (Tameka) Smith and James (Wanda) Butler; one special sister, Ann Brewton; one special niece, Whitney Holloway; a host of loving family members and friends.
