Anna "Tip" (Atterberry) Ellis

Mrs. Anna Atterberry Ellis was born January 05, 1930 in Candler County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mr. James and Mrs. Hattie B. Atterberry. She entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 2, 2016 peacefully at her home. 
 
At an early age she joined Dixon Grove United Methodist Church. Later, she moved her membership to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Pulaski, Georgia. 

Mrs. Anna was preceded in death by her husband of sixty one years, Mr. J. W. Ellis, four children and two grandsons.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Catrina Hampton and Theresa (Willie L.) Williams, both of Metter, GA; Robert L. Ellis, Carl L. Ellis, Alton E. (Janet) Ellis all of Metter, GA, and Hallery L. (Miranda) Ellis of Phoenix, AZ; twenty five grandchildren, two of whom was at her side daily until the end, Roberta (Otis, Jr.) Mincey and Duran Hampton, nineteen greatgrandchildren, two brothers, Booker T. Atterberry, Metter, GA, and Joseph Atterberry,  Minneapolis, MN, friends and caregivers, Josephine Williams and Tara Graves and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.
