Robert Louis Holloway was born on February 25, 1947 in Metter, Georgia to the late Charlie and Janie McNeal Holloway. He entered eternal rest on
November 27, 2017. At an early he joined the Charlton Grove Missionary Baptist Church and at his passing, was a member at The Stone Help Ministry under Pastor Anthony J. Turner, Sr.
His parents, Charlie and Janie Holloway, and two brothers, Deroy McNeal and James Bernice Holloway preceded him in death. Robert attended elementary and high school in Metter, Georgia. After completing high school he joined the United States Army. He served in the Vietnam War and later, was honorably discharged in 1972. Robert made his home in Miami, Florida in the late seventies and while there, attended Miami-Dade College, receiving a Master Electrician Degree. He was one of the leading electricians in the city of Miami for many years, opening his own business, “Holloway’s Electric & Repair, Inc.”.
Robert committed his life to the service of The Masonic Brotherhood and rose to the rank of 33rd Degree under the leadership of Mr. Tim Montgomery.
Those of us who loved Robert and have fond memories of him, include a devoted special friend, Ms. Sandra Rolle and her daughter, Yolanda Saunders and three grandchildren, all of Miami, FL; his brothers, Nathan Holloway of Warner Robbins, GA and Charles Edward Holloway of Miami, FL. He will also, be missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
