A Time to Be Born

Ricky Sherd was born on November 25, 1959, tothe parents of Gene Sherd and Bernice Phillips. He was called to rest on October 5, 2017. He preceded in death by his parents the late Mrs. Gene Sherd and Mr. Bernice Phillips of CollinsGeorgia.

A Time to Live

At an early age Ricky gave his life to God, later in life he rededicated his life back to God. Rickywas educated in the public school system of Collins Georgia. He worked as a Farmer and later moved to Metter Georgia and continues to seek his career in Farming and Lawn Care Service.

A Time of Remembrance

He leaves to cherish his memories, three Sons, Ricky (Latudra) Brown Jr. of Vidalia, GA, Tyson (Gwendolyn)  Brown of  Savannah, GA, and Travis (Kenosha)Brown of Swainsboro, GA and one  Daughter Kimberly Brown of Swainsboro GA. Four brothers Eddie Sherd of  Savannah GA, Terry Sherd, and Albert Thomas of Bluffton SC, Alfred Thomas of Washington, GA, and Shannon Thomas of Allenhurst GA. Four sisters, Shirley Dickson of Vidalia GA, Christine  Forman of Bluffton SC, Mary (Tony) Sherman of Midway GA. and Sandra Dickson who he preceded in death. He has fifteen Grandchildren, one uncle and three Aunts, several nieces, and nephews. All that he touched which includes a host of friends and neighbors will cherish his memory.
