Cynthia Ann Tapley

Ms. Cynthia Ann Tapley was born on July 17, 1965 to Mr. John Tapley Jr. and Mrs. Ida Mae Davis Tapley in Candler County, Georgia. She entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation, Metter, Ga.

She was a lifelong resident of Candler County. Cynthia was educated in the public schools of Candler County. She graduated in 1985. She attended Treemount Temple Missionary Baptist Church. Cynthia was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Pleasant View Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Mae Tapley, one sister, Glenda Tapley, two aunts, Evonne Byrd, and Winnie Tapley, one uncle, Arthur Lee Parrish.

She leaves to cherish years of fond memories; her father, John Tapley Jr., Metter, GA; one sister, Rita Tapley (Willie) Grant, Metter, GA; three brothers, Bryant Tapley, Ernest (Yvonne) Tapley, Metter, GA., John Tapley III (Terricka), Statesboro, GA.; seven aunts, Fannie Donaldson, Effie Dekle (now deceased), Annie Pearl Parrish and Brenda Sue Carr, all of Metter, GA., Lucy Davis, Statesboro, GA., Annette (Sammy) Carr, Millen, GA., Evelyn Dekle Jefferies, Marietta, GA., five nieces; Tamara Grant, Tawanda McCullough, Metter, GA., Janae Tapley,Bangor, Maine, Mary Tapley, Veljulisa Canty, U.S. Air Force, stationed in AL., four nephews ; Alexander (Trina) Grant, Swainsboro, GA., Larreo May, Ernest Tapley,Jr,and John Tapley IV, Metter, GA., and one god-sister, Wamekia Mikell, Metter, GA., and a host of grand-nephews, grand-nieces, cousins and friends, her companion Dale Hills, and a special friend, Betty Mack.
