Torrey Lee Michael Mincey

Torrey Lee Michael Mincey was born to Lee Edward and Linda Mainer Mincey on December 5, 1979 in Candler County, Georgia. He transitioned from this life on November 5, 2016.

He attended the public schools of Candler County and graduated from Metter High School, Class of 2000. Torrey attended the Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Atlanta, GA. He was baptized at an early age and was a  member of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Register, GA. He later united with the Tremount Temple Missionary  Baptist Church in Metter, GA.

Torrey had a love for dancing, having fun, and spending time with family and friends. Torrey was a one-of-a-kind unforgettable person with a big personality. He enjoyed life and believed in living life to the fullest.

Torrey was preceded in death by his father, Lee Edward Mincey; grandmothers, Kathryn B. Mainer and Willie Mae Mincey; one brother, Corey Mincey; and one aunt, Sharon Mainer.

He leaves to cherish a multitude of memories: his loving and devoted mother, Linda M. Mincey; his brother, Tyris Mainer; his sister, Tomeka McNeely; grandparents, Charles and Ouida Mainer; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins. and friends who held him dear.
